When setting up the Reviewer workspace in an enterprise geodatabase, is it absolutely necessary to configure cache tables for users? This is Step 5 of the Storing the Reviewer workspace in an enterprise geodatabase article found on the ArcGIS Resources page.
We have an Oracle geodatabase, and I'm just wondering if we skipped this step, will performance be significantly impacted? It can be tough to coordinate with our DBA, so thought I'd throw this out there to see if anyone else had moved on without performing this step.
Thanks in advance for any advice and comments.
