arcgis pro: converting IFC to CityGML and CityGML to geodatabase file

I hope everyone is doing well. I have an IFC2x3 file that I would like to integrate into ArcGIS Pro at its actual location. To achieve this, I plan to perform two conversions: first from IFC to CityGML, and then from CityGML to a geodatabase file. However, I'm uncertain about the exact process and whether I should utilize FME Workbench for the initial IFC to CityGML conversion, followed by ArcGIS Pro with its Data Interoperability extension.

I've conducted multiple attempts, but unfortunately, I haven't achieved the desired results. If anyone has expertise in this area or can point me to relevant documentation or tutorials, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Based on what you are trying to do I will recommend this workflow

1. Use Pro to reads directly, geolocate  and converted the IFC to GDB Resource --> https://learn.arcgis.com/en/paths/bim-and-gis/

2. Use FME for the CityGML to GDB conversion (See Renato  links below)

3. Append both GDB's

It seems like you own both FME Desktop and Data Interoperability. IFC and CityGML are both supported features of Data Interoperability. If you are not sure which product you need to use, you need to be aware of the FME Engine build. Typically FME Desktop is on a quicker version upgrade cycle, while Data Interop gets a new version at least once a year.
