Operations Dashboard Zoom on a Widget Labels Don't Resize

Hello,

We have created a dashboard using Operations Dashboard in ArcGIS online.  When we zoom/expand a widget to full screen the labels for the chart/graph do not resize with the chart/graph object.  This makes it hard to read if showing this in a conference room or large room.  Is there a way to make these labels resize?

Thank you,

James

Hi James,

> When we zoom/expand a widget to full screen the labels for the chart/graph do not resize with the chart/graph object.

This is a current design limitation of the visualization elements in Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS.

Please post an enhancement request on the ArcGIS Ideas site.

Hope this helps,

It isn't always a perfect solution, but sometimes zooming in on your browser will do the trick if the screen resolution is too high. In most Windows browsers you can press `ctrl and +` to zoom in.

Alternatively, you can configure the font size on most elements to be larger.

Thanks for the suggestions.  In our scenario, and I probably should have been more descriptive, we have several elements on a dashboard and so we are short on real estate on the screen.

Increasing the label font size would work if we had a small number of widgets.  Kind of a catch 22, If we increase the size of the label font, the labels won't show completely on the dashboard until the widget is maximized.

Zooming on the maximized object is almost a solution but it is an extra step that we shouldn't need to go through when presenting to an audience.

Hi James,

As a workaround, could you possibly stack some elements to help open up some space in the layout in your Dashboard? Just a suggestion.

Hope this helps,
