Hello Community,
We have been using Survey123 to collect data from our field employees about what type of work they do, how long it takes, and where that work is performed for the past few years. To show all this data to my team I use Dashboards and at times the data has been a little off, but generally it has been close enough.
Recently though results from the Survey and Dashboard have been diverging a lot. Below is a specific instance, but there are many more:
If we filter by Date to last week we can see that Kevin has tracked relatively few hours, but when I go in and look at his results within the actual feature layer populated by the survey results I see that his hours are double what is being reported here.
I double checked the filters and deleted and recreated this element multiple times, but the issue persisted on the viewable dashboard although after I made these updates and tested it in the Dashboard Editor often the graph would look correct. Then I would save, refresh the viewing window, and the element would still show the incorrect number of hours.
I enabled exporting the source data and the source data that gets exported is only a fraction of the entries that should be displaying.
The survey does get used a lot! We have somewhere between 1,000-2,000 entries every week and those all go into the dashboard. And the dashboard itself is pretty big with about 60 different elements (all of which have specific filters that apply to each element) all together and all these element pull from the same hosted feature class. Is the feature class or dashboard to big?
I can give specific links and more information if needed!
Is that infographic configured to be filtered by the current map extent?
Yes! That seems to have been the issue! Thank you for the response!
Awesome! Please mark the answer as accepted 🙏 if there's nothing else you needed.
Here's the document link on turning it off as the map as the source of the action filter:
