Configure indicators to reflect the map extent?

Can the Indicators be configured to reflect only what is shown in the map extent? In other words, the indicators would update as the user navigates the map.

Yes, if you open the "configure actions" dialog for the map (and select the map in the dropdown), you can choose to "Filter" "When Map Extent Changes". Then just select your indicator in the list of available target elements. There are more details in the documentation here.

You set the gauges to reflect the count or statistic or number to the current extent by using the Configure button on the MAP then you click on the Map Actions and then you add each gauge that you want to change when the extent changes
