I used to be able to select string elements for indicators in ArcGIS Dashboards, but now I can't. What's changed? Am I doing something wrong? When I create an indicator, the only fields available are numeric; I have a couple of fields with text that I want to showcase.
I have found a work around, its convoluted but it works. Make the value type "feature" Select any of the numeric fields, it doesn't matter. Next, go to the indicator tab and in your text options click the field dropdown, your String fields should appear an an option there.
