Hi  guys,

We just installed the new Enterprise 11.1 release to take advantage of the "Download source data" feature within the dashboards.

Using a hosted feature layer with Export data enabled we are only able to take advantage of the "Download summarized data" from the table widget meaning that it can only work if we use tables from grouped values instead of tables from features.

AGOL Dashboards allows users to export from either Table types (Grouped or features).

Is there something I'm missing ?

Regards,

I don't have an answer or solution, but I do have a question... my org just upgraded to 11.1 the other day, and while I have been waiting patiently for the download data option for a dashboard, I don't see the option on the General tab for settings of an element.

The only explanation I can find for not having the option available is the description of the option here: Download data—ArcGIS Dashboards | Documentation, which says "Source data download is only available for elements that have an ArcGIS Online hosted feature layer with the export data setting enabled as their data source."

Is this accurate?! Do I really have to publish something to AGOL rather than Portal for this to work? Is that how you have your dashboard source set up?

Thanks!

Its not available in Enterprise.  ESRI needs to get its act together with feature parity issues like this.

They really do, especially with the cost associated with running their Enterprise product/ecosystem.

I really don't understand why they don't fix the bugs in existing offerings and think its ok to keep putting out "new" products for more money.  I'm sick of hearing, no sorry you can't do x,y and z in the product you have, but no worries, there's this new shiny object that will fix everything for you.  It's a crappy business model.
