Use "contains the text" as categories in serial chart

I'd like to be able to search each record for specific text and use that text as the categories for a serial chart.

If FIELD contains the text "ABC" then ABC becomes one of the categories. If FIELD contains the text "XYZ" then XYZ becomes another one of the categories.
