I am requesting a feature in ArcGIS Dashboards that allows indicator widgets to display only the most recent inspection per feature. Our Operations and Maintenance Supervisors rely on Dashboards to visualize current issues and track performance. Each inspection is submitted as a new record—even when a problem is resolved—to maintain a complete, auditable history. However, displaying all inspections can clutter the data and obscure the current state of assets. Being able to filter indicators to show only the latest inspection per feature would provide clear, actionable insights while preserving historical integrity. This functionality would greatly improve decision-making, accountability, and resource management across our organization.
Hi @Laura,
Have you tried setting the value from Statistic to Feature and have a filter to set to only display inspections on a given date or the current date? From there you can use the advanced option to display specific fields.
Inspections are conducted over a span of weeks, not just on a single day. This creates a challenge when I want to filter inspections by year. For example, if a hydrant is found leaking during an inspection, the "leaking" field will be marked as "yes." I want to retain this record, but after the issue is fixed, I submit another inspection showing "leaking = no."
Both inspections happen in the same year, but since the hydrant is now fixed, I want the final leaking indicator to reflect the most recent status — in this case, change from 1 (leaking) to 0 (not leaking).
