I use "Category" selectors in all my dashboards. Sometimes I want to use an ID field as a Category to search for a single feature. Often times the number of ID's exceeds the "Maximum categories" value set. I would like the "Search" option to reach back to the source data (might have 10s of thousands of records) to search from a complete/full list of values to find the one of interest for the mapped feature(s). WebApp Builder, Experience Builder, Insights all behave is this way with with their filter widgets.
