Following an EF-3 tornado in 2022 that highlighted inefficiencies in paper-based workflows, Butler County, Kansas, modernized its emergency response system. This transformation was essential during a major flood in 2025, where the county deployed ArcGIS Dashboards combined with other ArcGIS products. This provided emergency teams with real-time insights and significantly improved response speed, allowing them to complete approximately 240 damage assessments in just 3 days and eliminated more than 30 days of manual data entry that paper forms once required.
