The Getting to grips with ArcGIS Connectors for Power Automate blog > Prerequisites section says:

There are workflows you can create which make use of free connectors but  we will not be covering them in this blog.

How can we use free connectors? I’m new to Power Automate.

I can definitely see the confusion and desire to know more about potential free connectors to enable you to work with Arcgis* resources, whether that may be Portal, ArcGIS Online, or otherwise.

To my knowledge, the Survey123 connectors remain free (non-premium). However, as you can see, the other main Arcgis connectors for ArcGIS Online or Enterprise are premium connectors.

Further, the ability to make actions using the built-in HTTP action - meaning any use of REST API calls via HTTP actions within Power Automate - is also a premium feature.

So besides the Survey123 connectors, I'm not sure what other methods are available for interacting with Arcgis resources that are not locked behind a premium power automate license. I hope someone else may be able to follow up with more context, and maybe there are actually ways to do it.

That said, a single power automate premium license is fairly economical (~$15/month for my local government tenant), but the red tape in your - or anyone's - business use case may a daunting task to get  through if you have to go through layers of organizational, financial, or IT/security gauntlets.

I also do not know of any.

Depending on business scale, the Premium license can be a very good purchase.

@Bud what @CalvinHarmin said, you do need a power automate premium license for using ArcGIS, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS PaaS there is no additional licensing required from our end if you have appropriate ArcGIS user type to use actions and triggers (e.g. Creator).

The S123 green connector is an older version which is free to use (not a  premium) connector and is no longer maintained by Survey 123 team so any bugs are unlikely to be addressed there. All the actions and triggers are incorporated in the ArcGIS/ArcGIS Enterprise connectors. These are more advantageous especially with authentication and token exchange piece that can keeps your connection up to date. Also there are few new fixes and enhancements in them.

Agree with @abureaux depending on business scale Power Automate premium license is a great purchase! It is worth it if the automation is going to effectively save you 1-2 hours a month of any resource(s) at minimum wage! 😄

Hope this helps.

@AkshayHarshe  Thanks.

The hurdle isn’t the actual price, which as we know is minimal. The hurdle is I.T. finding the time to make the purchase and to set up the integration. They say can't prioritize this right now, so anything I can do myself, or at least mock up a proof of concept myself, is very valuable.

@Bud I hear your, getting IT to get you a license can be rough. POC and making a case is of course way to go. Trust me I know, when I joined this team I was asked to use the 90 day free trial until my licensing and approvals were sorted out. 😄

Thanks,
