This blog lists an important update regarding the upcoming retirement of the ArcGIS Companion application planned for January 1, 2026. After this date, the app will be removed from the Google Play store and the Apple App Store. Users who already have ArcGIS Companion installed may continue using it, but it will no longer be available for download or reinstallation, or receive any support from Esri.
This decision reflects Esri’s ongoing effort to focus on modern, streamlined mobile and web experiences. The administrative functionality provided by ArcGIS Companion is now fully supported within the mobile web experiences of ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, and public web maps can be accessed through ArcGIS Field Maps.
To ensure uninterrupted access to your ArcGIS content and administrative tools, we recommend the following actions:

Use the mobile web experience in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise for administrative tasks.
