Is there a standard or best practice method for feature validation on a collector database that is hosted in ArcGIS server web map service?
We have a public participatory collector database that we want to integrate with an existing database once the features are validated for location and attribute accuracy. This will include location information, domain selections, as well as open text fields. Participation will be limited to invited parties only via url to the browser based application.
Currently we intend to setup a view of the WMS or create a duplicate database in ArcGIS Online and script regular validations using geocoding and some kind of manual definition validation if needed (TBD), prior to merging the validated records.
If anyone has experience with this type of setup, your guidance is greatly appreciated!
