I am an author of a field map that is shared among 34 people in the field. Some people take it offline. I know that under the hood, it's all json being referenced. I'm getting requests to add layers to the map and I'd like to roll this out into the existing map without disrupting anything with my field users.
Is there a best practice for this sort of thing? I'd imagine that the best way to tread lightly is to not mess with any of the layer id's that are currently referenced and only add layers at the bottom. I just want to be sensitive to the, let's call it, arcgis.com item field map schema.
