We have some situations where we would like to collect some field data for a project, but that project was created by our survey department using a local coordinate system. So working off a grid that starts at 5000,5000. The software that we use for the Leica GG04 unit, Zeno Connect, allows us to apply a datum transformation, based off the x,y,z translation / rotations, in order to get the GPS unit adjusted to the system we want.
My question is, is there a way to configure Collector to honor the datum transformation that is being performed within the GPS unit? What needs to be changed within the location profile in order for this to work? Or is this even possible?
Does anyone have any experience working with a situation like this?
