We have had issues dealing with multiple attachments for features in Collector. It would be useful if we could limit the number of attachments to 1 per feature.
I would expand this idea to all mobile apps (e.g. Field Maps) as well as geodatabases. We need a way to control the potential size of the data and this is an obvious problem area. We normally work with the "Subject Matter Expert" and get their requirements but we need a way to implement this across the Esri platforms.
Hi - how can we get this idea implemented? There needs to be a way to limit the number of attachments that are allowed on any feature class in an Enterprise or File Geodatabase. Short of that, we need a way to be able to set a limit on the number of attachments allowed on any hosted feature layer.
We have too many users storing too many photos on features because they think that a photo attachment creates a type of archive mechanism.
So - there has to be a way to limit the number (not just the size) of attachments allowed on any feature.
