The global random seed is invoked at cga

I found the seedian function in the old question and found that positive values are the same as the global random seed, but negative values are different. I wanted to call it in the rules I created. ctrl+shift+G after the rules I created will keep the results consistent when I used fileRandom.

Your observation is correct. When using 'Menu > Shapes > Update Seed' <ctrl+shift+G> in some cases negative numbers are generated.
For the CGA seedian shape attribute the values are restricted to the range [0, 714024]. Numbers outside this range are mapped into it.
