Export of a ShapeFile from one scene to another scene in same project

Hi Matt,
Is it possible ?
I generated some buildings in one scene from OSM data and want to export them in another scene of the same project , in which I cannot import my OSM data directly ( though correctly georeferenced WGS1984UTM54N) . I tried all possibilities of import/export modes without success.
Maybe making objects ? In that case I'll have to export them in Archicad ?...did not try yet !
What do you think ?

Hi Matt,
I replied to myself !
I went thru Archicad where I got my 3D objects modelized on WorldMap blueprints and dragged-pasted them in the assets of my project where I can find them in all the scenes I want .
I have the suspicion that you'll hear  from me again...I am busy virtually reconstructing Minamisanriku (on the hills) which had been swipped off the map after the tsunami.
By the way I didn't hear yet from the Japanese guys I wrote to about their traditional japanese buildings that appear in the demo of EsriJ for CE and the nice video of Crescent .
