I can't find total populations by age group for 2024 (Esri) to compare with the updated 2025 estimates.

You can still access the 2024 data when you switch back to 2024 data source using the data source selections button.
However, data vintages are created using different methods, assumptions, and sometimes even different geographic boundaries. So, if you compare numbers from two vintages, the differences might come from how the data was built—not from real-world changes. This can lead to misleading conclusions.
If you need trends over time, use official time-series datasets designed for that purpose instead of mixing vintages.
