The attached Powerpoint is a rough step-by-step methodology I utilized to identify clusters of Equifax colocation centers, international stock exchanges, international banks, and submarine internet cables, in an effort to correlate spatial proximity between international stock exchanges and colocation centers. With a theory that micro-second stock trading between computer programs might be enhanced due to spatial proximity to collocation centers and international stock exchanges, I chose to explore where Equifax might choose its next colocation center location.
