When are users able to publish their apps to the stores and check the usage with the online version of Appstudio for ArcGIS?

I thought the features were ready from 8 december onwards.

Is there a date when these will be published?

There are many steps required to take installation files to the stores that are difficult to automate. For version 1.0 you can generate these files in AppStudio and follow the steps described here

Distribute your app—AppStudio for ArcGIS (Desktop Edition) | ArcGIS

to take them to the stores.

Over the coming releases we intend to automate more of this process.

I had some contact with some from the team that worked on the appstudio.arcgis.com site.

And I was told that there were still some negotiations between esri, Google and Apple.

No explicit date was foreseen for these features to be released.

Sorry but I have another question.

With the appstudio desktop version I only see instructions with a MAC to publish to the apple store.

Is there a way to publish with a windows OS to the apple store?

Hi Lieven,

You are only able to publish to the Apple Store using a Mac. There is no way to publish from Windows.

E.g., the tools you need to generate certificates for your apps are only available on Mac.
