I have a large ASP.NET project which contains a couple of Silverlight pages devoted to maps from mapserver. It now comes time to propare some hardcopy output. I would like to include a map thumbnail perhaps 2 or 3 inches square on the printed page. The map will highlight one construction project and the remainder of the report will provide the details from SQL Server similar to the way MapQuest shows an address along with driving instructions.
Can someone point me to general instructions on how to approach this task? I am assuming the map would become an image on the report form. I can set up the map extents and selected feature on the Silverlight page but where to go from there, assuming that is even necessary?
