Heatmap using point feature layer

I am trying to use the following heat map example http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/silverlight/samples/start.htm#HeatMapLayerSimple, I can get the example with the random points to work fine, however I am trying to display a point featurelayer using the heatmap layer.

I am sure this is possible, however I cannot get it to work. Can anyone provide sample code, which demonstrates how to adjust spatial intensity using a point featurelayer, as opposed to the random point in the example.
