Can a URL for Navigator for ArcGIS be created in Microsoft Word?

I want to create a URL link to use with the Navigator app. If I create the link in Microsoft Word, will it work with the Navigator app? I am open for any other idea that can me with this process.

You can create the link in any program. If you're using the ArcGIS API for Python, there is a method to build it: arcgis.apps module — arcgis 1.5.2 documentation 

Is your goal to have the link in a Word Document and then someone taps that link to launch navigator with pre-defined stops?

Thanks for the quick reply.  Yes, my goal is to build the stops, hopefully with python, in Microsoft Word and create the URL there and be able to send that link

to Navigator for routing. As you mentioned above, it is just my goal.
