Unable to upload scene to ArcGIS online; Visibility analysis

I am working on a project that attempts to reconstruct visibility from the first person view in Ancient Egypt. Visibility analyses in 2D ArcMap were already done, including viewshed and line of sight analysis. The goal now is to recreate the environment in CityEngine (which has been done), and upload it either to ArcGISonline viewer portal or ArcScene to run different tools for further visibility analysis. Is this strategy for viewshed analysis in 3d a good one, and is there an explanation as to why the models are taking so long to be generated in CityEngine for online viewing? I am currently only uploading 1 single procedurally modeled building to ArcGISonline and it is taking over 20 minutes. I am using default settings and doing the uploading through to upload to arcGIS online tab through the file menu. I am using CityEngine Advanced 2013.1
