Anybody know if it's possible to get 3d marker symbols to set real world height values from a field??

So, i'm using a combination of Arcgis 10.2, arcglobe and AGX to create forestry visualizations, and am curious if it is possible to use a height field to set the height of the 3D (tree) marker symbols in Globe and then export that to an lpk for AGX consumption?  I have lidar derived (top points) for the tree tips that i have been using to put the 3d marker trees into height bins for the symbology, but i would like to just use the actual heights of the trees from the data to set the globe real world heights.  Any thoughts would be helpful.  Thanks!
