I was wondering it it's possible to use swipe layer tool in arcscene environment. I can't seem to find it activated in arcscene.

According to my rapid search on this topic....

Interactively reveal rasters using the Swipe Layer tool—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

Changing a layer's drawing order—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

There is a place for that tool's use and omission of mention in other places suggests a 'no'

Hi Dan.

Thanks again for your rapid response. Somehow, I could not find out if the tool is possible in Arcscene environment. All explanations of it was centered on Arcmap. I was just hoping I could use it in Arcscene or perhaps have a tool with similar function in Arcscene. Do you have an idea of this?

Cheers,

As indicated, there is no mention of it in arcscene, it is for use in arcmap

You could publish a 3D scene. See Exporting ArcScene Documents to 3D Web Scenes In a Web Scene you can enable the swipe tool.

Very many thanks Dan and Xander. In fact, I did not know of this 3D export stuff to scene before now. Appreciate.
