Heads up. The Ministry for Civil Defence & Emergency Management (MCDEM) will be advertising for a geospatial type role in the new year. The time frame for applications will be tight. It is understood the role will likely be both policy development and implementation based but with a geospatial focus. If you’re interested dust of the CV and keep an eye out on Seek.co.nz from 8th January. Alternatively contact derek.phyn@waikatoregion.govt.nz to join NZGIS4EM Slack community where the advert will also be posted.
