Kevin Gooss (Senior GIS Architect; Kevin.Gooss@timmons.com)"Enterprise Solutions Leveraging Cloud Services"True enterprise solutions are created to maximize user efficiency and data quality. ArcGIS Online has created a new paradigm in Web GIS that allows users to configure applications quickly yet also creates new issues for creating enterprise solutions. Particularly, data is only exposed via web REST services. When compared to ArcGIS Server-based solutions, this architecture limits the accessibility of the data for reporting and also limits the opportunity for geoprocessing and automation. Timmons Group has created a hybrid solution leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) and ArcGIS Online. They will discuss the use of AWS Lambda services to replace the functionality of traditional geoprocessing and reporting services. The event is hosted with the support of Esri.Hope you can join us!
