Collector App: export 'my places' lat/longs

It seems that the 'my places' function in the Collector app operates like a graphic or some other temporary entity within the device and isn't stored so that the information can be accessed (unless you are using the webmap in the device). It would be nice if the lat/longs could be extracted or even just accessed in the background somehow, like you could get a table with coordinates and the place name when you plug your device into your computer.
