Dock multiple maps/MXDs in one desktop window

Sometimes it is helpful to have multiple maps open. It would be helpful to have tabs in the ArcMap window that included all of the open maps on one's computer. This idea would be similar to how many internet browers work and are used. The functionality should allow the user to open in new tabs or new windows.
