ArcGIS API for Python v1.2 available

The ArcGIS API for Python<\/A> has quickly developed into a very powerful tool for working with Web GIS. This is certainly partly because it is a scripting language that can be used not only by experienced programmers but also by power users. Of course, scripting in Jupyter Notebooks<\/A> is enjoyable and highly interactive. Ultimately, I think it is above all the broad range of applications of the API that makes it so powerful:<\/P>

Just in time for the

Esri User Conference 2017<\/A>, the ArcGIS API for Python has now reached version 1.2. The new version includes some exciting new features:<\/P>

• New extensive API for raster analysis<\/LI>
• SpatialDataFrames for the

Pandas library<\/A><\/LI>Automation of distributed GIS solutions (Portal-to-Portal Collaboration)<\/LI>Powerful GIS administration with a new server submodule<\/LI><\/UL>

In addition, numerous other improvements have been made and bugs fixed.<\/P>
