On 12.6., I followed the invitation from 12min.me Hamburg to give a short lecture on the topic "Working With Startups: Innovations in Mapping". I must say that I really enjoyed the event. With around 160 participants, the meetup was very well attended, and the participants were open-minded and interested across the board. That's how it should be 🙂

In my lecture, I presented the Esri Startup Program and its significance for Esri. Using 5 members of the program, I demonstrated the wide range in which GIS can be successfully applied today. Specifically, I introduced the following startups:
NavVis, Indoor mapping and navigation
Building Radar, Search engine for construction projects
Mobalo, Local Smartphone advertising
greenspin, Satellite-based smart farming
Conias Risk, Risk Analysis Solutions

My special thanks go to Oliver Rößling from Absolute Software GmbH, who is the driving force behind 12min.me and advances it with great passion.

Finally, I would like to share a few souvenir photos with you...

Esri Startup Program
