Three-dimensional geodata can be created from laser scan flights or your own models. However, they can also be generated using photogrammetric methods. For several years now, recording systems carried not only by airplanes but also by unmanned copters have been considered. Overlapping images are linked together in Drone2Map via thousands of image points to form an image composite, from which orthomosaics are calculated, allowing lengths and areas to be measured precisely. The stereoscopic information from the overlay is converted into 3D data. The only requirement is that the image data have GPS location coordinates.<\/P>
