Man learns from his own mistakes. In Hodruša-Hámre, I prepared a Survey123 form for a friend from PF so that he could collect folk architecture objects in the field using a mobile application on an Android smartphone. Everything went according to plan - objects were gradually added including photos and accompanying text as we agreed. When everything was finished and I looked at the result on the map, I realized that although we collected buildings, the positions of our objects were not located over the buildings but were scattered in the terrain. I sent the image with them to the author to get clarification. I received this image:
PF did his job well and yet the objects were measured inaccurately. The fault was mine. Before completing this measurement form, I should have carefully read this blog by Ismael Chivita Survey123 Tricks of the Trade: XLSForms and location quality and I would have learned:
1. That it is necessary to set an accuracy threshold through an appropriate value in the column body::accuracyThreshold,
2. That it is very useful to record measurement accuracy data also into the attribute table.
