Dialogue box is not popping up whenever I click on the 'Go To XY' tool in ArcMap

Hello,i would kindly like to know the problem with my Arcmap because whenever i click on

Go To XY

feature,the dialogue box does not pop up.Instead the ArcMap keeps on not responding
