Can Survey123 notify me when specific values have already been entered?

I help run a sea turtle monitoring program and many of these animals have flipper tags or micro chips on or in them.  I would love to be notified when we enter a tag number, if that animal has already documented that year.  Is this, or something like it possible?

Hi Leif,

How is the tag being maintaining? Are you using barcode scanner to scan the tag in the survey form? If that's the case, you could use the Inbox feature in the field app and specify the instance name as the tag number. With 3.10 field app, we now support to use barcode scanner to search the records within the inbox. In your case, if the tag can be maintained by the barcode, you could open the Inobx and scan the tag to search any existing tag records to know if the tag is being documented before.
