I am trying to create a user login page that will prompt the app user to enter their name and a password before using the app. I have followed several leads however, none worked out. Any advice or tips? Thank you

We have a sample called OAuth + Biometric Authentication that shows you have to log in to ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal)
Depending on where you are trying to authenticate to, but that sample should help.
