Domain Assignments lost in Feature Class to Feature Class tool output

I am having an issue maintaining the domain assignments for fields using the Feature Class to Feature Class tool if I exclude some of the output fields in the field map. I have the appropriate boxes checked for the environment to transfer field domain descriptions but the domains are not showing up in the field view of the output file. Any suggestions?

I am having this issue without excluding any fields. Environment parameter to include domain descriptions checked on. Domains transfer but are not associated with any fields in table (I am able to manually associate the domain I want with the field I know it belongs with). ArcGIS Pro 2.8.0.
