Help with streets

I am looking for way to display streets like google maps, with close to the same widths. Meaning if there is an alley it would display smaller than an interstate would.

Are you talking about for map display?  You should just be able to go into properties ->symbology -> categories -> unique values and then from there adjust according to the specified value field.
