Credit consumtion for publishing via cloud drive

Hi,

I published a layer from a file on a cloud drive (dropbox/OneDrive). How does this effect the credit consuption of my ArcGIS Online Organization?

Is the data stored somewhere in AGO, too, so I have to pay for the storage, or is there only the feature layer, that points to the dropbox, so I can really save credits through this?

Now I have. So Adding Data from a cloud does only upload it to AGO like it can also be done via ArcGIS Pro.
