AGOL Basemap Gallery Widget and WMS

Question

Hello,

I'm using the AGOL Web App Builder and including the basemap gallery widget.

I'd like to include some WMS basemaps, but I don't seem to be able to add them as a basemap in the Add Basemap dialog. I've tried adding both the "true" URL to the service and the URL to the AGOL layer that points to the WMS. Neither works.

Has anyone successfully added a WMS to the Basemap Gallery widget?

OGC WMS are supported as layers that can be added to basemaps:

Choose basemap—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

I'd suggest checking out the projections to see if this is a cause of the issue you are seeing or get in contact with support services.

Have got the same problem. Did someone solve it allready?
