Hyperlinks as pop ups

Hello

I'm using ArcGIS Explorer 1500 on Windows XP with IE6.
I've imported a shape file into my map which has a field containing hyperlinks.
For my pop up content I use the value of this field as a hyperlink.
The hyperlinks work and the file it points to opens, but before it does, I get an 'Action Cancelled' page from Internet Explorer, which is annoying at best.
Can I stop this from happening?

When I insert a hyperlink to the same file from the hyperlink tool I don't get the problem.
I have 3 file types avi, mpeg and pdf and it happens on all.

Hello Lee,
Are you able to test it on IE8? Maybe this is a browser issue.
