Android Geolocation Not Working

Question

Have a mobile app which uses a geolocation "Find Me" type of button. Works great on iPhone/iPad/PC, etc. However on Android devices the process hangs and a position is never returned. Any ideas, thoughts?

P.S. Yes, I do have Wireless Networks AND Use GPS Satellites enabled on the device.

What version of Android does it not work on? I tested on 4.1.2 and it seems to be working. I'll try debugging other versions as well.

Did you manage to solve this issue. I just ran into the same problem. I have used an example from ESRI samples to create my geolocate widget.

It's interesting that I found geolocation API had some compatibility problems with Ipad/Iphone (before IOS7). I used geolocation and it works fine on android usually.

Make sure the device allows the app to use user location though.:)
