Multipatch rendering issue

Hi,

I have a file geodatabase with multipatch feature featureclasses and can view those multipatch features and change the symbologies in ArcScene (till here it works perfect). But when I translate the same features from fgdb to sde via FME Workbench (Data Interoperability) something is not right, it copies just fine into the sde database but when I view in ArcScene it shows up as a solid black blocks. So I tried changing the symbologies but it has no effect on the ArcScene.

Please see the attachment with the outputs in ArcScene.

So now I am not sure whether its the problem with the interoperability or something else. Any help is appreciated.
