SFV 2.0 hide widget from banner

Question

Is there a simple way to hide a widget in the SFV 2.0. In 1.3 I could set the label and icon, but in 2.0 it seems to default to another icon and still show in the banner. In my case I am using the Query widget and I just want it "open" by default so the query happens when the map loads. If I can remove the icon/button from the banner the query would then always be available (I think). Either way I would like to know if there is a quick easy way to do this before I add new code.

Yes, don't put it in a widget container.
