When I try to edit numbers in my table for my shape file, a table window pops up and says "The value you have entered is out of range or is not a whole number" This is a short integer. This also was encountered on two computers.
What was the number you were trying to enter? Refer to this article for information regarding data types. Also is there a domain set on that field to where the value has to be within a specific range other than what's listed in that article?
