Kafka Adaptor does not deploy in geoevent 10.4.1/Linux

Downloaded and deployed Kafka adaptor as per instructions. Did not appear in connector list. Stopped service, cleared cache, restarted service - still did not work.

The COT adaptors do deploy with the same instructions... Looking for vplechnoy to confirm if this is broken, or if there is secret sauce I am missing -
