How do I display the text description, rather than the integer code, in the popup window for a layer in a mapservice referenced by the viewer? I'm using the compiled flexviewer and only work with the config xml's and widget xml's.

Yes, you need to change the source code.

The compiled version don't display coded domain. You need make changes on your code to it make this.

That's what I was afraid of. So, there's no way to do what I need to do by just altering the config files? I need to get to the source code?

I think in your domains you are using integers in the Code Values. If so let the code values be the text you will want your users see. Re-publish the map service, hope this helps
